Purpose

Updates the committee on the planned use of
UKSPF borough allocations that the Council is responsible for under
the Communities & Place, Supporting Local Business and
Employment and Skills themes; also updates the committee on the
forthcoming Twickenham BID ballot and recommends the Council's
voting position with regards to eligible properties.

RESOLVED:
 
The Finance, Policy and Resources
Committee:
 

a) 
Noted the further detail on the use of the
borough’s UKSPF allocation under Communities and Place and
Supporting Local Business themes.

 
b) 
Delegated to the Assistant Chief Executive, in
consultation with the Chair of the Finance, Policy and Resources
Committee, the authority to:
(i) 
Enter into agreement with the South London
Partnership for £203,040 to deliver the borough’s UKSPF
allocation under the Employment and Skills theme;
(ii) 
Cast the council’s vote in support of further
term of the Twickenham BID
 
b) 
Approved a positive capital budget addition of
£130,000 in 2023/24 and £261,800 in 2024/25 only. This
will be funded by the UKSPF grant for the projects described in
paragraph 4.5.
