Purpose

The Director of Adult Social Care and Public
Health is asked to authorise the approval of a contract for an
overnight respite service for adults people with a Learning
Disability in Richmond for a period of 2 years from 1st October
2023 to 30th September 2025.

Content

RESOLVED: That
the Committee:
 
a) 
AGREED that the Director of Adult Social Care and Public
Health be authorised
to approve a contract for an
overnight respite service for adults with a Learning Disability in
Richmond to United Response for a period of 2 years from 1st
October 2023 to 30th September 2025;

b) 
NOTED that the annual contract value is £287,387. The
total direct award value
is £574,774 (plus inflationary
uplifts); and

c) 
AGREED that the Director of Adult Social Care and Public
Health is asked to
endorse that further work is
undertaken to co-produce a respite offer with the local community
of adults with a Learning Disability to be procured by 1st October
2025.
