RESOLVED:
 
That the following recommendations be AGREED
–
 
1. 
To work with the data analysis team to review weather and rainfall
levels, to make predications regarding autumn leaf fall and plan
resources accordingly. It is recommended earlier implementation of
additional assistance for the street cleansing team is deployed if
there is earlier leaf fall.
2. 
To trial some of the practices being used in neighbouring boroughs
including a blitz team and an additional Refuse Collection
Vehicle.
3. 
To trial the use of industrial vacuum cleaning for clearing leaves
in Autumn 2023
4. 
Upon request to trial the delivery of CLL sacks free of charge, to
residents in multiple intensively tree lined streets, to clear
leaves on pavements voluntarily.
5. 
To implement the additional communications methodologies detailed
to raise awareness of the service.
