Purpose

A delegated decision was made in June 2023 to
implement a gated closure outside 494 Hanworth Road with additional
double yellow line waiting restrictions on the service road
approaching the junction of St Stephen’s Road under an
Experimental Traffic Management Order (ETMO - Section 9 of the Road
Traffic Regulations Act 1984). A decision has to be made within 18
months as to whether the scheme is made permanent, amended, or
permanently removed. This report includes an appendix to summarise
the representations regarding the scheme with officer
responses.

Content

i) To note the representations received in response to the
Experimental Traffic Management Order (ETMO) as outlined in Section
7 and Appendix C of the report.

ii) Agree to the making permanent of the ETMO under Section 6 of
the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984.
