Purpose

To report on the receipt of a petition for
traffic reduction measures on the Rivermeads Estate, Twickenham and
outline the results of a public consultation for two options aimed
at removal of through traffic from the estate.

Content

The Executive Director of Environment and
Community Services notes:

i) The results of the informal consultation outlined in section 7
of the report.
ii) The support for Option 2 and agrees to the introduction of an
ANPR traffic restriction, operating in a North-Easterly direction
only on Willow Way, from the junction of Bye Ways, under a Section
9 Experimental Traffic Management Order.
iii) In light of comments received, the hours of restriction are to
be reduced to Monday to Friday, 7am-10am only.
