RESOLVED that the committee:
 
1. 
Note the progress made in the engagement work to develop a
new climate strategy for Richmond upon Thames.
2. 
Approve the recommendation that London Borough of Richmond
upon Thames enters into a 2-year partnership arrangement with
MakeMyHouseGreen to offer a solar purchasing scheme for Richmond
residents as set out at paragraph 5.9 of the report, subject to
compliance with the council’s obligations to ensure that our
supply chains are free from modern slavery and subject to positive
comment from the Director of Financial Services in respect of wider
related sustainability policies within the procurement
strategy.
