About

The Rutland Planning Committee is responsible for making decisions on a range of planning-related applications and functions. This includes determining applications for planning permission, listed buildings, and advertisements, as well as agreements regulating land use under the Town and Country Planning Act. The committee also handles enforcement powers, provides comments on applications to other statutory bodies, and issues notices or orders related to town and country planning legislation. It also has functions under the Planning (Hazardous Substances) Act and the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act.
