Each member of The Cabinet

The Constitution
Some of the decisions to be
taken by The Cabinet are defined as ‘Key

incurring expenditure or making savings which are in excess of £150,000;
2.
Be significant in terms of
its effects on communities living or working in an area
compromising two or more wards in the Council’s area;
and
3.
The
consideration of any matters which involve proposals or
decisions.
The
Leader publishes a monthly Work Programme of key decisions or
decisions which they intend to take in private over the following
28 days, plus where details of decisions to be made after this
period are known, they are provided for information. The latest
version of the programme can be found on the Council’s
website
here.
Members of the public may
address The Cabinet on matters contained within the agenda, if
notice has been given in writing or by electronic mail to the Head
of Paid Service (at committeemanagers@stratford-dc.gov.uk)
no later than midday two clear days before the day of the meeting.
Each notice must give the name and address of the
speaker:
·
a time allowance of three minutes is allowed for
each member of the public to address The Cabinet; and
·
if more than one person wishes to address the
meeting on one particular subject, a
maximum of five minutes will be allowed in total. Members of the
public will be encouraged to nominate a spokesperson if they
consider that they would not have sufficient time to adequately
express their points.
