The Cabinet Member for Children, Families
and Lifelong Learning:
1.    
Agreed the use of funding from the total approved SEND Capital
budget of £110.5m for 2025/26 to 2028/29 for the St John the
Baptist School scheme. Noting that the new provision would create
permanent accommodation for 30 additional state-maintained
specialist places.
2.    
Approved entry into any associated legal
agreement and terms to be agreed by Director Land and Property in
consultation with the Section 151 Officer, Director for Education
and Lifelong Learning and Cabinet Member for Children and Families
and to facilitate the contract award and project delivery for St
John the Baptist’s new mainstream SEN unit.
