Purpose
Brighton and Hove (BHCC), East Sussex County
Council (ESCC), Surrey County Council (SCC) and West Sussex County
Council (WSCC) and their associated Districts and Boroughs is
proposing to put in place a framework for three years plus one year
extension, for the provision of legal services across all four
councils and all directorates and services with them.
A full OJEU procurement process was carried
out and following the evaluation of the responses forty-eight (48)
bidders were identified as suitable providers for inclusion on the
framework.

It was AGREED that:
A framework be established with forty-eight
providers across 15 lots. A full
breakdown of the providers and the lot allocation is provided in
the attached procurement report.
Reasons for the decision
All provides passed the minimum 50% pass mark
for quality and submitted pricing in accordance with the award
criteria to win a place on the framework.
Alternative options considered
National Frameworks discounted as Framework
Lots are too generic and not suitable for our joint service
requirements.
