Purpose

This decision record sets out the key
information for publication on the decision by the Executive
Director for Adults, Wellbeing and Health Partnerships to approve
expenditure for a Your Fund Surrey project located in Woking. The
agreed recommendations are set out below and details of the project
are set out in a decision report attached as an Annexe to this
record.

Fund the full amount
requested of up to £52,405 (£57,624 total cost; 91%)
comprised of:
1.   
£52,405 of capital funding towards the renovation of the
toilets and installation of a changing places toilet to be paid in
staged payments, on evidence of spend

Including 5% to be held by SCC until final evidence of income,
expenditure, building control sign-off

Authorise Legal Services to seal a funding
agreement.

Reasons for the decision

These decisions are to enable expenditure from
the Your Fund Surrey to be awarded to a project which have been the
subject of a rigorous assessment process by officers, as set out in
Annexe 1.
Officers consider the project to meet the aims
and published criteria of the fund, has been considered by the Your
Fund Advisory Panel and to satisfy the requirements to award
funding.
The project will refurbish the toilets within
the well-used community centre and improve accessibility by
installing a changing places toilet for wheelchair users.
