Purpose
That Cabinet approve capital funding for essential refurbishment works at Oakwood Secondary School in Horley. The proposed works include extensive internal and external refurbishment works to the building fabric. Decision
RESOLVED:
- That Cabinet approves the allocation of capital funding to the refurbishment works required at Oakwood Secondary School. This will be funded from existing Education Capital Maintenance budget allocations for 2026/27 and 2027/28 and s106, third party contribution.
- That Cabinet approves procurement of appropriate construction partners to carry out the works, in accordance with the Council’s Procurement and Contract Standing Orders.
- That Cabinet approves delegation of authority to the Deputy Chief Executive, Executive Director of Resources and Section 151 Officer and the Director of Land and Property to authorise the award of contracts, up to +5% of the budgetary tolerance level.
