Purpose

This procurement relates to the appointment of a main contractor to undertake refurbishment and associated building works at Stanecroft and Tiltwood Care Homes. The works include internal and external improvements across both sites, with careful programming and coordination required to minimise disruption to residents, staff and ongoing care operations.

The successful contractor has been procured through a competitive tender process, with the works to be delivered under the agreed JCT Design and Build 2024 with SCC amendments.

The Council is seeking to award a contract to a single contractor to undertake the works at both Stanecroft and Tiltwood Care Homes.

The contract value is £1,538,862 (excl. VAT).

Decision
