Reasons for the decision

It is a statutory
requirement to publish a Safeguarding Adults Board annual report.
2014 Care Act statutory guidance states that one of the three core
duties of a Safeguarding Adults Board is: “It must publish an
annual report detailing what the SAB has done during the year to
achieve its main objective and implement its strategic plan, and
what each member has done to implement the strategy as well as
detailing the findings of any safeguarding adults reviews and
subsequent action.

The content and
format of the Safeguarding Annual Report can be revised in line
with feedback.
