Purpose

To adopt the Housing with Care Strategy that sets out the
high-quality housing with care options that the Council needs to
deliver over the next ten years to meet the future care and support
needs of residents whilst continuing to promote their independence
and wellbeing.

Content

The Mayor noted and agreed the reasons for urgency
as set out in the report.
 
DECISION
 
1.   
Agree and approve the proposed Strategy.
 
2.   
Agree that options for additional housing with care settings are
developed as part of the delivery plan for the proposed Strategy
and that these come back to the Council's Cabinet meeting at a
future date.
