Purpose

This report provides an overview of education performance in the
school year 2022/23.

A summary analysis of the 2023 results, compared to previous years,
is provided for national average attainment including for Children
in Our Care (CIOC). The report highlights successes, challenges and
barriers to further progress. The report also highlights THEP
support and interventions in primary and secondary schools to raise
achievement through system leadership.

out options to improve school performance in the borough including
commissioning of external advice.
