Purpose

This
report sets out progress made on the Kent Minerals and Waste Local
Plan, currently at Local Plan Examination.  KCC is consulting on Main Modifications to the
Plan and this report and Attached Appendix A sets out the suggested
formal response to the consultation to be submitted by
TWBC.
 
 
 

Decision

RESOLVED –
 
1.     
That the current consultation on Kent County
Council’s Minerals and Waste Local Plan Main Modifications be
noted.
 
2.     
That the responses/comments set out in the table of
TWBC officer comments presented in Appendix A be submitted on or
before 28 November 2024, as Tunbridge Wells Borough Council’s
representations to Kent County Council’s Minerals and Waste
Local Plan Main Modifications consultation be approved.
