response to the Overview and Scrutiny Committee Task and Finish
Group on Council Accessibility.

Decision

RESOLVED – That the recommendations as set out in the report be agreed in
principle and a request be made to officers to bring forward a
report that considers how the recommendations can be implemented
including the relevant cross cutting issues be
approved. 

 

REASON FOR DECISION:
It was agreed at an Overview and Scrutiny meeting in
September 2024 that work be undertaken by a Task and Finish Group
to consider the Council’s current practice for undertaking
consultations with residents.
