Purpose

TWBC
are disposing of a property asset via the Open Market but formal
Council approval will be required to complete the
transaction.

Decision

RESOLVED –

 

That the disposal of the asset referred to in this
report and the Appendices be approved.

 

That delegated authority is granted to the Head of
Economic Development and Property in consultation with the Director
of Finance, Policy and Development, the Monitoring Officer and the
Cabinet Member for Finance and Property to negotiate and agree the
terms of the disposal be approved.

 

That the Head of Mid Kent Legal Services is
authorised to negotiate and complete all necessary and ancillary
legal documentation and formalities to give effect to these
recommendations and the disposal of the property be
approved.

 

REASON FOR DECISION:
The sale of this property is part of a programme of
Asset disposal that would realise a Capital sum for Council
funds.
