Purpose

Review
of the provision of free pest control services to members of the
public receiving universal credit in the context of increased costs
to the contract.

Decision

RESOLVED –

 

That free pest control service for the treatment of
rats and mice for residents in receipt of Band 1 Council Tax
Reduction Support be approved.

 

That the Head of Housing, Health and Environment be
authorised to procure a new preferred contractor be
approved.

 
REASON FOR DECISION: To
comply with the provisions of the Prevention of Damage by Pest Act
1949.
