Purpose

To
award a contract to a suitably experienced and qualified contractor
to undertake the cleaning and hygiene maintenance for several
operational properties, public conveniences and temporary
accommodation.

Decision

RESOLVED –

 
1. That
the award of the new Cleaning and Hygiene contract to the preferred
bidder for a three-year term from 1 May 2024 with the option of two
extensions of one year at a time be approved.
 
2. That
the drafting and completion of the contract and any relevant
ancillary documentation be delegated to the Head of Legal
Partnership be approved.
 
REASON FOR DECISION:  The preferred contractor
met the requirements of the Council and provides a saving to the
proposed budget for 2024/25.
