Purpose

KCC is
consulting on a draft Local Flood Risk Management Strategy,
spanning the period 2024-2034.  This
report explains what the consultation is about, the
purpose/aims/objectives of the Local Flood Risk Management Strategy
and sets out the formal response to be submitted on behalf of TWBC
to the consultation.

Decision

RESOLVED –
 
1.   
That the current consultation on the Kent County
Council Kent Local Flood Risk Management Strategy 2024-2034 be
noted.
 
2.   
That the responses set out in the completed
Consultation Questionnaire at Appendix A, be submitted on or before
30 January 2024, as Tunbridge Wells Borough Council’s
representations to KCC’s consultation on the Local Flood Risk
Management Strategy be approved.
