Purpose

The
report relates to the consultation by Sevenoaks District Council
(SDC) on its Local Plan 2040 Regulation 18 (part 2) Draft
consultation document.  The new Local
Plan that SDC is providing will provide the planning framework for
development in Sevenoaks District until 2040.  The policies within the Plan will be used to
assess planning applications and guide future
development.

Decision

RESOLVED – That the current
consultation on Sevenoaks District Council’s Local Plan 2040
Regulation 18 (part 2) Consultation should be noted and that the
responses/comments set out in the table of TWBC officer comments
(Appendix A) be submitted on or before 11 January 2024 as Tunbridge
Wells Borough Council’s representations to Sevenoaks District
Council’s Local Plan 2040 Regulation 18 (part 2) consultation
be approved.
