Purpose

Report
setting out the findings of the consultation on the Draft Economic
Development Strategy, any amendments that have been made to the
document in response to the consultation and proposing that the
Strategy be adopted.

Decision

RESOLVED – 

 
1.  That the adoption and publication
of the final Economic Development Strategy for 2023-26 (Appendix A)
be approved.
 
2.  That the Action Plan and Economic
Indicators Dashboard will be reviewed and updated on an annual
basis and reported back to the Communities and Economic Development
Cabinet Advisory Board be noted. 
 
REASON FOR DECISION: The new Strategy will guide the work of the Council and partner
organisations over the next 3 years.
