Purpose

To
appoint representatives to the Council’s Outside
Bodies.

Decision

RESOLVED –

 
1.    
That the nominated persons for the terms of office specified as set
out in Appendix A & B be approved.
 
2.    
That the appointment to the Commons Conservators for the period 2
May to 31 December 2024 be approved.
 

3.    
That appointments to the Commons Conservators for
the period 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025 be
approved. 
 

4.    
That South East Employers (Deputy), Melville’s Charity for
Molyneux Almshouses, and Sir Thomas Smythe Charity be removed from
the list of Outside Appointments and the necessary arrangements
undertaken to facilitate these changes be approved.
 

5.    
That the Council give consideration to any vacant posts and where
possible consider making appointments be noted.
 
REASON FOR DECISION:  To ensure that the Borough Council
maintains mutually beneficial relationships with organisations at a
local, regional and national level
