Purpose

This
report provides an overview of the Rother District Council
Regulation 18 Local Plan which is currently out to public
consultation, and provides a suggested response and comments which
if agreed by the Portfolio Holder would be submitted as
TWBC’s formal response to the consultation.  The consultation closes 23 July 2024.

Decision

RESOLVED –
 
1.    
That the current consultation on Rother District
Council’s Regulation 18 Draft Local Plan be noted.
 
2.    
That the suggested responses/comments set out in the
table of TWBC officer comments presented in Appendix A be
submitted, on or before the 23 July 2024, as Tunbridge Wells
Borough Council’s formal representations to Rother District
Council’s Regulation 18 Draft Local Plan consultation be
approved.
