Purpose
This
report seeks approval to allocate and release £216,850.00 of
Section 106 planning obligations towards the demolition of,
purchase and installation of new portable changing facilities. The
funds have been received by Tunbridge Wells Borough
Council.
Decision
RESOLVED –
1.
That developer contributions totalling
£216,850.00 collected pursuant to the planning agreements in
respect of planning permissions 12/02547 Kent and Sussex Hospital
and 13/00070 Land SW of Bayham Road be used to fund the demolition
and purchase of replacement changing rooms at Bayham Sports Ground
and also seek to undertake the refurbishment of the second existing
changing room to a storage facility be approved.
2.
That the contributions are (12/02547) - Recreation
Contribution of £158,414.12 to be used towards the provision
or improvement of recreation facilities within Tunbridge Wells, and
(13/00070) – Youth and Adult Recreation Facilities
Contribution of £58,435.88 to be used towards provisions and
improvements of recreation facilities for youth and adults to serve
the borough of Tunbridge Wells be noted.
