Cabinet
response to the Overview and Scrutiny Committee Task and Finish
Group on the Council’s process for procuring
contracts.

Decision

RESOLVED – That the recommendations as set out in the report be agreed in
principle and a request be made to officers to bring forward a
report that considers how the recommendations can be implemented,
including the relevant cost cutting issues be
approved.
 
REASON FOR
DECISION: It was agreed at an
Overview and Scrutiny meeting in February 2022 that this work be
undertaken by a Task and Finish Group to consider the
Council’s process for procurement and contract
management.
