The Director of Operations approved funding for Bristol City Robins, 1625 Independent People, Creative Youth Network, and Julian House for the Youth Guarantee Trailblazer – Mayor's Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) Flexible Support Fund on 11/05/2026. This decision included approving the flexibility to move funds between the Youth Guarantee Trailblazer and Mayoral Priority Skills Fund within the agreed £2.1m funding envelope.

The Head of Energy & Digital Infrastructure awarded a contract to Jacobs to supply a project manager secondment for the Digital Office Pilot on 19/08/2026. The contract will run from 04/09/2026 to 31/07/2027 with a total value of £92,691.84 excluding VAT.

The Director of Operations approved the funding application for The Restore Trust for the DWP Connect to Work programme on 28/05/2026, conditional on meeting due diligence requirements. The Restore Trust is recommended to be awarded £500,000 to deliver Connect to Work as a regional delivery partner of Supported Employment, aiming for a minimum of 136 participant starts and 68 employment outcomes.

The Executive Director of Transport approved the Bath Walking Wheeling and Cycling Links (Kennet & Avon Canal Route) Full Business Case on 05/06/2026. This includes approving the drawdown of £1,837,582 of City Region Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) capital funding to Bath & North East Somerset Council for delivery.

The Executive Director of Transport approved the Full Business Case for Somer Valley Phase 1a on 01/06/2026. This includes the award of £2,888,105 of City Regions Sustainable Transport Settlement (CRSTS) capital funding to Bath and North East Somerset Council for construction and delivery.

The Director of Strategy approved the allocation of £1m revenue funding from MHCLG to support the expansion of the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority on 5 June 2026. This includes £330,000 to North Somerset Council and £650,000 to WECA for programme costs and acceleration of strategic projects.

The Head of Analysis and Evaluation purchased the Huwise open data platform for one year from 22nd January 2026 to 21st January 2027 on 03/09/2026. The contract value is £42,000.

The Head of Delivery (Rail) / SRO Future Transport Zone (FTZ) programme appointed Bevan Brittan Solicitors to provide legal and procurement advice for the re-procurement of the Integrated Micromobility Services contract on 24 April 2026. The contract value is up to £48,000 plus VAT.

The Executive Director of Transport retrospectively approved change requests for the Active Travel Fund Tranche 4 (ATF4) on 23/04/2026. These changes include milestone updates, scope adjustments, and fund reprofiling for South Gloucestershire Council and Bristol City Council, with reallocation of funds to the Residential cycle hangars programme and the A4 Temple Island Cycle Link.

The West of England Combined Authority Committee noted the receipt of a £45,005,618 allocation of the Brownfield Housing Fund capital grant on 5 June 2026. The Committee delegated the detail of delivery to the MCA's Director of Place, in consultation with equivalent directors of the Unitary Authorities.
