The West of England Combined Authority Committee supported the Mayor's intention to submit a proposal to expand the West of England Combined Authority to include North Somerset Council on 5 June 2026. The Committee also delegated authority to the Director of Law and Governance to approve the final wording of the expansion order.

The West of England Combined Authority Committee approved the West of England Combined Authority Investment Plan 2026 and noted the publication of the West of England Investment Prospectus on 5 June 2026.

The Executive Director of Transport approved the drawdown of £1,612,000 for the Bath Walking & Wheeling Cycling links project and £495,000 for the Somer Valley Links project from the City Regions Sustainable Transport Settlement capital funding on 8 July 2026. This funding is to be transferred from the delivery to the development allocation for both projects to bring them to the Full Business Case stage.

The Director of Bus Operations awarded a contract to Atkins Realis to review bus information in the West of England region on 11 June 2026. The total contract value is up to £52,000.

The Director of Operations awarded a contract to Ramboll UK Limited to deliver the South West Solar Carport Project on 26 May 2026.
