The Joint meeting - West of England Combined Authority Committee and West of England Joint Committee decided to endorse the Hicks Gate Masterplan as a non-statutory planning framework to inform emerging planning policy on 05/06/2026. The Masterplan aims to unlock coordinated and high-quality housing delivery with significant infrastructure delivery, including protecting the A4 as a high-frequency mass transit corridor and establishing a new transport interchange at Hicks Gate.
