The Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care,
Public Health and Voluntary Sector has approved the procurement
strategy for a care provider to be appointed for the Carlton Dene
Extra Care facility for a period of 7 years with a three-year
extension, which will allow officers to conduct a competitive
procurement exercise for a contract with a total estimated value
during this period (including extensions) up to
£17,952,160. 
 
Reasons for
Decision
 
Amongst other reasons, this procurement
strategy will enable the appointment of a provider which will meet
local need, align with preventative care strategies and support the
independence and wellbeing of service users.
