The Cabinet Member for Finance and Council Reform, in consultation with other Cabinet Members, approved the appropriation of land at the former Queens Park Court site for planning purposes on 20/06/2023. This decision allows for the development of nineteen residential units and four dwellings, including the realignment of Droop Street and reconfiguration of the car park. The Executive Director for Growth Planning and Housing is delegated to handle necessary arrangements for the land transfer, negotiate compensation for third-party rights, and take steps to settle compensation claims.
