The Executive Director of Regeneration, Economy and Planning approved a contract award for outstanding works on the Paddington – Bayswater Shopfront Improvements Scheme. Mitre Construction Company Limited was appointed to conduct interim remedial and temporary protection works, and complete outstanding works on six businesses for a total contract value of up to £244,000. The decision includes appointing Mitre Construction Company Limited by letter of intent, to be subsumed into a JCT intermediate building contract, and weekly inspection of scaffolding until removal.
