To appoint Owlsworth Roofing as the main contractor for the roof replacement works at Eton Wick CE First School.

Reasons for the decision

A tender exercise was carried out in accordance with the borough's procurement rules. The bid from Owlsworth Roofing provided the best combination of value for money and deliverability.

Alternative options considered

Alternative bids for the works were considered but the tender from Owlsworth Roofing has been recommended by Property. A 'do nothing' option would mean that the works to replace the roof at Eton Wick CE First School could not go ahead. The roof is in a bad condition and urgent works are required to keep the school dry.
