Purpose: The Director of Social Services is required to produce an annual report on the effectiveness of Social Services.  This report is a statutory requirement on all local authorities in Wales.  The report will need to incorporate evidence from a range of stakeholders and provide relevant performance data.  The report provides an opportunity for an assessment of how well Social Care services are being delivered and those key priority areas for development for the coming year.

Content: RESOLVED: that the Local Authority’s Social Services Annual Report for 2023/24 be approved for consideration by Council.
