The Planning Committee of Hounslow Council met on Thursday, 11 June 2026, to consider two planning applications. The meeting's agenda included discussions on proposed developments at 18 Grove Road and 64E Waldeck Road.
18 Grove Road, TW7
The committee was scheduled to discuss a retrospective planning application for alterations at 18 Grove Road, TW7 4JH. The application involved the installation of a new window and side access door to the side elevation, modifications to the rear extension including changes to doors and skylights, the removal of a rear balcony replaced by a window, and repositioning of a rear skylight with a new sun tunnel. Additionally, alterations to the front landscaping and roof forms of the existing extensions were to be considered. The report indicated that the proposed development would not harm neighbouring properties and would preserve the character and appearance of the host property and the surrounding Spring Grove Conservation Area. The recommendation was for approval, subject to planning conditions.
64E Waldeck Road, Chiswick
The committee was also scheduled to consider a planning application for the erection of a single-storey rear extension at 64E Waldeck Road, Chiswick, W4 3NU. The proposed extension was described as a modest addition to the house, measuring 2.6 metres in depth, 4 metres in width, with an eaves height of 2.21 metres and a maximum height of 2.61 metres. The report suggested that the extension would have no adverse impact on the appearance of the area or on adjoining neighbours. The site is located in Flood Zone 3a, and the application included a Flood Risk Assessment. The recommendation was for approval, subject to conditions.
