The Natural Environment Board meeting scheduled for Thursday 9 July 2026 proceeded, but was inquorate for most items, meaning decisions could not be made on those items.

The minutes note that, due to there only being four voting Members in the room, any business relating to City Gardens (items 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12 and 16) would be considered on an informal, inquorate basis. The minutes also state that the agenda was varied to consider item 9 before item 4. For the Nature Recovery Strategy Development Proposal, the Committee confirmed that they supported the recommendations in the report, noting that it was intended for the recommendations to be processed under urgency procedures.
