Response to Traffic-Related Anti-Social Behaviour on Alexandra Palace Way
A report is scheduled to be presented to the committee concerning traffic-related anti-social behaviour on Alexandra Palace Way. The report will provide an update on ongoing work to mitigate issues such as dangerous driving, street racing, and excessive noise. It will summarise reported problems, the partnership response to date involving Haringey Council, the Metropolitan Police, and local Safer Neighbourhood Teams, as well as the legal and enforcement context. Measures under consideration to deter and respond to such incidents are also expected to be discussed, including increased police and security presence, review of CCTV coverage, and potential traffic-calming measures. The report highlights that Haringey Council has introduced a borough-wide Public Spaces Protection Order[^1] which includes prohibitions relating to anti-social use of vehicles.
Alexandra Park Outdoor Events Report
The committee is scheduled to receive a report outlining the delivery of Alexandra Palace's outdoor events programme for 2026. This includes details on the Summer Series, which features six outdoor concerts and the Kaleidoscope Festival, with a maximum capacity of 14,500 per event. The report will also cover the Red Bull Soapbox event and the Fireworks & Drone Festival, which attracts up to 45,000 attendees per night. The report notes that the Summer Series events consistently achieve high customer satisfaction scores.
