The committee granted planning permission, subject to a legal agreement, for the redevelopment of 395 Kenton Lane to provide a four-storey building comprising two ground-floor commercial units, one ground-floor flat, and twelve flats on the upper floors. The decision was made by a majority vote, with Councillors Marilyn Ashton, Christopher Baxter, Samir Sumaria, and Zak Wagman voting to grant, while Councillors Peymana Assad, Simon Brown, and Nitin Parekh abstained. The legal agreement will cover affordable housing reviews, contributions to local employment and training initiatives, carbon offsetting, and parking permit restrictions.
Heathland School, Eastcote Lane, HA2 9AG - PL/0459/23
Planning permission was unanimously granted for the redevelopment of Heathland School to provide a single-storey teaching block, including the demolition of existing teaching blocks. This development aims to improve the school's educational facilities.
