The Standing Advisory Council for Religious Education (SACRE) were scheduled to discuss the appointment of a new Vice-Chair, the minutes of their previous meeting, an update on their work programme for 2023-2024 and the arrangements for the next Harrow Schools' RE Symposium, which is an event for Religious Education teachers in Harrow.

Appointment of Vice-Chair
The committee were scheduled to consider the appointment of a new Vice-Chair to replace Rabbi Kathleen Middleton following her resignation in June 2024.
Minutes of the Previous Meeting

SACRE Work Programme 2023-2024
An update on the progress of the SACRE work programme was scheduled to be discussed.
The key objective is to ensure the effective and agreed delivery of the work programme for 2023-24.

Harrow Schools' RE Symposium – Arrangements for next meeting
The committee were scheduled to discuss arrangements for the next Harrow Schools' RE Symposium, which is an annual event for Religious Education teachers in Harrow. The report pack suggests holding the next symposium in the summer term.
It is recommended that the next Harrow Schools’ RE Symposium be held in the Summer Term 2025.
