Citizens' Advice Service Level Agreement

Calum Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of Citizens Advice Rushmoor, was scheduled to present the 2023/24 service level agreement annual report.

The report details the activities and impact of the service, which provides free, impartial, and confidential advice to Rushmoor residents. The report highlights the financial challenges faced by the organization, leading to restructuring and a focus on partnership activities targeting the most vulnerable residents.

Despite the loss of valued people and experience through redundancy, and an increasingly difficult operating environment, we have continued to deliver for those who need us most.

Overview and Scrutiny Committee Work Plan

The committee was scheduled to review their work plan for the 2024/25 year.

The work plan outlines the committee's responsibilities, including reviewing and scrutinizing council decisions, monitoring service performance, and considering petitions. The plan lists ongoing projects, such as monitoring Registered Providers and reviewing the Council Tax Support Scheme. Future items for consideration included Highways issues, Housing and Homelessness Prevention Strategy, Climate Change Action Plan, Community and Youth Engagement, and Stagecoach.
