The Disability Oversight Panel met to discuss the adoption of a new Housing and Property Vulnerability Policy and confirm its meeting dates for the following year.

Housing and Property Vulnerability Policy (draft version)

The panel were asked to note and comment on the draft Housing and Property Vulnerability Policy.

The draft policy sets out how Camden Council proposes to improve its recognition of, and response to the needs of vulnerable residents. It contains a definition of vulnerability:

Vulnerability means a situation where a resident or household faces barriers to accessing our housing and repairs service, which could lead to disadvantage.

The policy goes on to describe a range of ways in which the council will identify, record, and respond to resident vulnerability.
