- Commercial space (Use Class E1) on the ground floor
- 18 new dwellings (Use Class C32), including:
- 9 one-bedroom units
- 2 two-bedroom units for three people
- 2 two-bedroom units for four people
- 5 three-bedroom units for four people
- Secure cycle parking
- Refuse storage facilities
The Director of Planning and Development recommended approval of the application.
Land to the Rear of 330 Romford Road, Forest Gate, London, E7 8BS
The committee was to review a Section 73 application relating to land to the rear of 330 Romford Road. The application seeks to modify Condition 17 (Use) of planning permission 19/02679/FUL, which was granted on 12 October 2021. The original permission was for:
Demolition of existing site structures and erection of a four storey building arranged around central amenity courtyard, to provide 27 units for occupation as emergency family accommodation (Sui Generis) with communal amenity, cycle parking and ancillary facilities
The proposed modification involves removing the reference to a maximum stay of six weeks. The Director of Planning and Development recommended approval of the application.
Forest Gate Police Station, 350 - 360 Romford Road, Forest Gate, London, E7 8BS
The committee was to consider an application concerning Forest Gate Police Station, located at 350-360 Romford Road. The proposals include:
- Rebuilding the fire-damaged roof
- Erection of a rear extension
- New walls and fencing around the site boundaries
- Revisions to car parking and servicing areas
- Installation of a substation and switch rooms
- Removal of an existing telecoms mast
- Associated landscaping
- Construction of a new vehicle crossover to the site
The application site is located within the Woodgrange Estate Conservation Area and affects the setting of Emmanuel Church, a Grade II listed building3. The Director of Planning and Development recommended approval of the application.

Councillor James Beckles, Local Development Committee Chair, was expected to make announcements. The committee was also scheduled to confirm and sign the minutes of the meeting held on 12 May 2025.
