The Scrutiny Management Board meeting on 11 September 2025 was adjourned shortly after it began due to a lack of quorum. No business could be transacted, and therefore no decisions were made.
Adjournment of Meeting
The meeting of the Scrutiny Management Board, scheduled for 11 September 2025, was adjourned due to an insufficient number of councillors being present. According to the Council's constitution, a quorum of four members is required for any business to be transacted. With apologies received from Councillors Chris Kellett, Helen Howells, and Ben Williams, the board lacked the necessary members to proceed. Councillor Leon Gibbs proposed the adjournment, which was seconded and carried. The meeting was subsequently closed at 19:02.
