The Chief Officer Appointments Panel met to discuss the recruitment of a Service Director for Integrated Commissioning and agreed to exclude the press and public from the meeting to discuss the matter in private. They also approved the minutes of the previous meeting held on 15 August 2025.
Recruitment of Service Director for Integrated Commissioning
The panel convened to discuss the recruitment process for the role of Service Director for Integrated Commissioning.
The agenda for the meeting indicated that after an initial public session, the panel would move into a private session to discuss the recruitment in detail, in accordance with Section 100(4) of the Local Government Act 19721. This section of the Act allows councils to exclude the press and public from meetings when discussing matters that involve the likely disclosure of exempt information, as defined in paragraphs 1, 2, and 4 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act, as amended by the Freedom of Information Act 20002.
Approval of Previous Minutes
The Panel approved the minutes of the meeting held on 15 August 2025. At that meeting, with Councillor Sue Dann, Cabinet Member for Customer Experience, Sport, Leisure & HR, as Chair, the panel had agreed to restart the recruitment process for a Service Director for Customer Experience and Digital on either an interim or permanent basis.
