The Cramlington, Bedlington & Seaton Valley Community Partnership are scheduled to meet on Wednesday 24 September 2025 at Northumbria Army Cadet Centre. The agenda includes discussion of the council's budget and corporate plan, community governance reviews, and appointments to outside bodies. The meeting will also address public safety concerns raised in a petition regarding paths and roadways around Waverly Avenue/Drive/Bolam Place in Bedlington.
Budget and Corporate Plan Engagement
The meeting will include an interactive session to gather feedback on the council's priorities to inform its Budget and Corporate Plan. The Head of Policy and Performance and the Head of Communications and Engagement are expected to attend to provide information on the ongoing public consultation and engagement process.
Community Governance Reviews
The Head of Members Services, Elections and Deputy Monitoring Officer and the Elections Consultant, are scheduled to attend the meeting to provide information on the Community Governance Review.
Petitions
The meeting will address a petition regarding public safety and access on paths and roadways around Waverly Avenue, Drive and Bolam Place in Bedlington. The agenda indicates that the partnership will receive any new petitions, consider reports on previously received petitions, and receive verbal updates on petitions for which a report was previously considered. The lead petitioner is entitled to briefly introduce their petition by providing a statement in writing, and a response to any petitions received will then be organised for a future meeting.

The Partnership is scheduled to consider nominations for appointments to several outside bodies, including:
- Astley Park Management Committee - Councillor Les Bowman is listed as the current appointee.
- Beaconhill Community Association - currently vacant.
- Cramlington Community Association - Councillor Mark Swinburn is listed as the current appointee.
- Cramlington Voluntary Youth Project - currently vacant, with Councillor Wayne Daley listed.
- East Hartford (and District) Community Association - currently vacant.
- New Hartley Community Association - currently vacant.
Updates from Town and Parish Councils
The agenda includes an opportunity to receive updates on work carried out by Town, Parish and Community Councils in the Cramlington, Bedlington and Seaton Valley area.
Public Question Time
The meeting allows for questions from members of the public, either submitted in writing in advance or asked during the meeting, regarding issues for which the council has a responsibility. The agenda notes that the Chair has the discretion to manage local public question times, and may reject questions that disclose confidential or exempt information, are defamatory, frivolous, or offensive, or have been asked recently.
As agreed by the County Council in February 2012, the management of local public question times is at the discretion of the Chair.
