To the annual check-ups, annual dental check-ups, which seems to be the very foundation of good, and that's where the tooth decay is detected early or prevent or attractive or easy for families or for certain communities to access it.

And just wanted to know, is there some work that's being done for certain communities in which they're decayed? Because itself, the dental work being done on that, because they are very much related with each other.

And the last comment I have to make was, this lack of registration, that it's, again, a comment, which I feel can become a barrier sometimes for anybody who has done the treatment, and next time they find out. And, again, with certain communities, hard to reach, with other barriers, with the language, with the culture, and to find a new dentist, and to go through the whole procedure. And not only that, when they go to a new practice, that would mean the initial examination, that would be going to cost them, which might not have had they been registered. So, we, I feel, we would recommend that those barriers be addressed and lowered.

She expressed confusion about the relationship between UDAs and the difficulty people face in finding an NHS dentist:

And the other thing, which I'm just trying to fathom and just coming to terms with it, that with the, we here, and I don't have the statistics at the moment with me to support it, that people finding it difficult to find the NHS dentist, whereas with 96%, they have to have that UDAs, which is the dental activity. Units of dental activity. So, and some of them are not even able to make that contract. That, just, I can't understand how those two go together.
