South East London Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday, 25th March, 2025 6.30 pm
The South East London Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee (SEL JHOSC) [^2] was scheduled to meet on 25 March 2025 to discuss sickle cell services, the reconfiguration of cancer treatment services for children, and dentistry across South East London. The meeting was also scheduled to include the election of a chair and vice-chair, and a review of the committee's work programme and terms of reference.
Health and Wellbeing Board - Wednesday, 19th March, 2025 3.00 pm
The Board confirmed the minutes of the last meeting, approved the draft Better Care Fund Plan for 2025-26 and agreed to delegate approval of the final plan to the Section75 Agreement Management group. The Board discussed the draft Lewisham Health and Wellbeing Strategy for 2025-30, the South East London Integrated Care Board’s Joint Forward Plan 2025-26, and a request for a study of health needs in Forest Hill ward.
Audit and Risk Committee - Tuesday, 18th March, 2025 7.00 pm
This meeting was about the final accounts for 2023/24 and the early stages of planning for the 2024/25 audit. A report by KPMG, the Council’s external auditor, was provided that described its audit of the 2023/24 accounts, the value for money arrangements at the Council and its plans for the 2024/25 audit. The Committee were also provided with an update on the work of internal audit and the Corporate Risk Register.
Healthier Communities Select Committee - Wednesday, 12th March, 2025 7.00 pm
This meeting of the Healthier Communities Select Committee was scheduled to receive updates from a number of local organisations about their work on a range of issues affecting the health of Lewisham residents, including the NHS charging policy for some migrants, the Learning Disabilities Implementation Plan, and a new community mental health pilot scheme.
BUDGET, Council - Wednesday, 5th March, 2025 7.30 pm
This meeting was about setting Lewisham Council's budget for 2025/26. It included discussion of the council's overall financial position, a proposed increase to council tax, and the setting of housing rents.
