Children and Young People's Scrutiny Panel - Tuesday, 18th November, 2025 7.00 pm
The Children and Young People's Scrutiny Panel met on 18 November 2025 at George Meehan House. The agenda for the meeting included discussion of the draft budget and medium term financial strategy, the annual report from the Haringey Safeguarding Children Partnership, and an update to the panel's work programme. The panel was scheduled to discuss and make recommendations on the 2026/27 draft budget and medium term financial strategy, as well as note the safeguarding partnership's annual report.
Children and Young People's Scrutiny Panel - Tuesday, 9th September, 2025 7.00 pm
The Children and Young People's Scrutiny Panel met to discuss the Haringey Youth Strategy 2025-2030 and action plan, review the Haringey Youth Justice Plan 2024-2027, and consider the Children's Social Care Annual Performance 2024/25. The panel agreed to receive an annual progress report on the Haringey Youth Strategy. They also noted the performance data for Children Looked After, those on Child Protection Plans, and Children in Need.

The Children and Young People's Scrutiny Panel were scheduled to meet on 14 July 2025, to discuss membership and terms of reference, the appointment of co-opted members, children's social care performance, private fostering, and the panel's work programme. The Panel was also scheduled to receive a verbal update from the Cabinet Member for Children, Education and Families.
Meeting in Common - Children & Adults Scrutiny Panels, Children and Young People's Scrutiny Panel - Tuesday, 10th June, 2025 6.30 pm
The Children and Young People's Scrutiny Panel and the Adults & Health Scrutiny Panel met in common to receive an update on the development of the new Haringey Integrated Transitions Programme, which aims to support young people aged 14-25 as they transition to adulthood. The panels previously discussed the programme at a meeting on 28 May 2024, and this meeting was intended to provide an update on the progress made since then. The panels discussed housing, communication, and how the programme will be implemented.
